Really love this vet! Just an honest good dude who appears to know his stuff. What else can you ask for. I only dealt with Jason, so not sure about others in the office, but Jason is just an all around good dude who cares about animals. Mr. Flake, my little dog, was very happy. I almost never leave 5 star reviews, but I feel like I have been through so many shitty vets, that when I encounter a good one, it’s worth sharing and helping the fellow out too. If your dog needs anything, give this office a try. After much bad experience with vets all I can say is Jason and the rest of the team are what vets should be. Just kind and decent people.​​​​​​​

Mr. Flake, our 15 year old dog, has been in to see Dr. Jason Bennet twice in the last three years and we’ve been very satisfied. Dr. Bennett is caring, thoughtful, and refreshingly honest. We go to this office to get Mr. Flake’s dry eye prescription. Very happy patient. We highly recommend Dr. Bennett.​​​​​​​

I recently came to Mission Animal Hospital for my new kitten's very first appointment. I adopted him from someone who wasn't forthcoming about his medical history so I asked Dr. Bennett to give my kitten everything he would recommend, I also asked for a nail trim (he has some crazy sharp kitten nails).

I have been here before with my 7 year old cat Rocko. We were new to the area last year, tried the vet on base at Port Hueneme and did not like how they handled Rocko's care and found our way to Mission.

Dr. Bennett is wonderful, he is really easy to talk to, really listens to your concerns about your pet, and seems to give his genuine opinion; not like other vets who are always trying to upsell certain heartworm meds or flea medication.

I was a little worried about how my new kitten Echo would respond to being at the vet for the first time. He was VERY comfortable. He was trying to explore everything, grooming himself and trying to climb on Dr. Bennett- who was so kind and gentle to him.

Echo received his first two vaccines, a nail trim, a blood test, and I was given flea medication as well as a canister to take home to collect a stool sample which I brought back the next day. I was given the results of the FELV/FIV test within 10 minutes and the results from the stool sample within a day.
All of the staff I have interacted with have been wonderful. The front desk employees are always so welcoming and make me feel great every time I interact with them in person or over the phone.

The photographs of animals throughout the office are adorable. Parking is easy, there is a shared parking lot and street parking.
I can't recommend Mission Animal Hospital enough.​​​​​​​

I highly recommend Mission Animal Hospital. I have been taking my dog there since 2023. They are friendly, professional and have your animals health and well being as their top priority. Very knowledgeable and you can tell everyone their really loves what they do.​​​​​​​
